The Pharmacy start to process your prescription when they receive an electronic copy from Alternaleaf clinic. Once they receive the original prescription they will send out a payment link via email with details of your prescription. 

We understand some of the products are costly. If you would like a smaller quantity to tide you over, please respond to the email with the price of your medication and we will arrange this. 

Once you have made payment, if this is done by 3pm we will do our best to send the item to you the same day. In a small number of cases we may need to wait a little longer, you will receive a phone call or email if this happens. 

Off-licence use of medical cannabis means prescribing a cannabis-based medicine for a condition or in a way that is not officially listed in its licence or approved guidelines. This is legal and common in medicine, but it means the doctor is using their clinical judgement to prescribe the medicine based on evidence and patient need, rather than official NHS guidance.
